Spice Up Your Summer with the new menu offerings from RACKS

Whether celebrating an occasion or milestone, my family will never miss an opportunity to celebrate.

And one of our favorite ways to celebrate is to eat out. It’s a good reason to try a newly-opened resto or the new menu offerings.

Over the years, it was fun to observe that the family dynamics have changed what with the addition of a curious toddler whose antics form part of our entertainment while dining out.

Last weekend, my siblings took our visiting cousins to RACKS restaurant to try out the new items on their menu available only this summer season.

We were all interested to try the Butterfly Spring Chicken which can be cooked in three ways: rich flavored Hickory Smoked Spring Chicken, zesty Grilled Lemon Garlic Spring Chicken, or crunchy fried Chimichurri Spring Chicken. For just Php495, you’ll get your preferred chicken plus a side of either Curry Rice or Fried French Green Beans.

We’ve tried the crunchy fried Chimichurri Spring Chicken with fried french green beans which comes with a special dip. Our verdict: The meat was tender and tasty which was fried to perfection. Paired it with fried french green beans for the extra crunch.

 

We’ve downed it with a mocktail. Choose from Very Strawberry, Mellow Watermelon, or Classic Mojito for Php175 each.

And what meal is complete without dessert? Finish off with the Ultimate Banana Split dessert, topped with a scoop of any of the season’s featured flavors: Strawberry, Kesong Puti, Pastillas, and Avocado and Vanilla for Php295.

The new items on the menu are available for a limited time from April 5 to June 30, 2019 in all RACKS branches nationwide.
